Ninh Binh Railway Bridge, Ninh Binh, Vietnam, ground stabilization (CPIA)

2019 / Overseas / Groundwork

During the building of additional track for Vietnam National Railway’s Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh line, a composite deep mixing (CDM) method was used to prevent subsidence in the banks for railway bridge supports at Ninh Binh, where the ground is particularly soft. Because of the very tight allowance for displacement around the existing track and houses along the line, Fudo Tetra used the CDM-LODIC implementation method.
